Story of the company

The company Martin Hanzal-SODAT, that was a predecessor of a contemporary company SODATSW spol. s r.o., was on Czech market since 1993. From the beginning of its activity it has concentrated on the field of development and subsequent distribution of safety software device particularly intended to make easier work to a network administrator. The plan to start a company was a matter of fact that with diversifying of computing technology is necessary to hold data and also already installed software on a single disc in the specific order. From that reason the first versions of safety systems were made which had to prevent against possible problems which can happen due to undeliberate, unprofessional or completely intentional strike of operator / attendant. The first versions of protective system working under the operating system MS-DOS already kept from free usage of any floppy disks, saving, deleting or modification of individual parts of hard disk. First off the protective systems of a company SODAT with the advantage used by network administrator in computer classrooms at educational institutions where they managed to provide against many problems and save a lot of time to network administrator. There was also a careful testing of individual parts of protective systems SODAT, especially installation / setting up and illegal deactivation from a user. Onset of 32 bit operating system came to a radical change of conception of protective system SODAT. At that time was created the protective system OA-Sodat 32 version 4.0 which support the entire 32 bite setting. With using the protective system OA-Sodat 32 the network administrators effectively manage to protect also setting up Windows 9x, where they have a possibility to lock up individual control panels to a common user or start a total protection of a register database that will ensure a predefine setting Windows 9x after every restart. Turning point came in January 1997 when a new company was established SODAT software spol. s r.o. Two companies Martin Hanzal-SODAT and Ing. Tomáš Stranyánek-MOTY consolidated. Both owners became executives with 50 % of shares of the company SODAT software spol. s r.o. Developing department headed by Ing. Martin Hanzal looks after development of new protective and safety systems including technical assistance. Ing.Tomáš Stranyánek as a head of sales and market department arranges sale and presentation with support of a distribution chain which includes outside sales representatives of both hardware and software. The business strategy of the company changes the substantial way and concentrates on school system also health system, state administration, private sector and companies with a large information system. Another turning point was INVEX 97 where the company B>SODAT software spol. s r.o. achieved success with many big firms in Czech and Slovak Republic where now arising representation. Nowadays the company disposes of sufficient background of both technical and personal, it has its own know-how and it is adequately entrenched on the market. In April 1998 the company SODAT software spol. s r.o. introduced completely new product on the exhibition CeBIT 98. The creators called it PassManager verze 1.0 and its task is to protect computers against undesirable booting from the side of an unauthorized user. PassManager found fulfilment at the hardware sales representatives who provide it with new computers as OEM version.

At INVEX 98 we contrived to accomplish several important orders and we also spoke to foreign partners at that time. At the beginning of 1999 the company SODAT software spol. s r.o. started to operate on the Hungarian market where another representation was arisen. In May 1999 we made another contract about representation but this time with an Austrian partner. In September 1999 all systems were rename and it was introduced a new product name OptimAccess. At that time there were three modules OptimAccess Plus, OptimAccess Extension and OptimAccess Remote Control which provide users with more comfortable and effective computer maintenance thanks to the system OptimAccess. A contract about a partnership with the company Microsoft to promote systems OptimAccess through channel Select, in cooperation with LAR partners.

SODAT software spol. s r.o. released a new product OptimAccess version 6.0 which has many new functions and is intended for Windows NT and 2000 in reaction to arrival of an operating system Windows 2000. At INVEX 2000 OptimAccess 6.0 reached success and was awarded by IT magazines.

INVEX 2000 was a milestone in the company SODAT software spol. s r.o. history due to launching completely new security system AreaGuard which protects users´ sensitive personal and company data by encryption on the Windows platform. The proof of its quality is The best of Invex 2000 award which AreaGuard obtained immediately after launching and directly at INVEX 2000.

INVEX 2001 again significantly contributed to development of the company SODAT software spol. s r.o. with a form of introduction of system AreaGuard unique function-"FirmWall" that customers from bank sector showed an interest. There was environment for several important pilot projects. .
OptimAccess was introduced in version 7.0 with new extension OptimAccess Remote Control Server that programmers created on the base of demands of several important reference customers. The prestige award Křišťálový disk 2002 AreaGuard Solution obtained directly at INVEX 2002 that ACIT - Academy of communicating and information technology.

From the first of April 2004 the company SODAT software spol. s r.o. got a new name SODATSW spol. s r.o. and it also changed its logo appearance. .
Furthermore it is used a new name Desktop Management System OptimAccess, which contains six stand-alone parts - modules. After successful introduction freeware OptimAccess Dial another freeware OptimAccess EasyReport was released which scans software and hardware equipment of work stations. .
Desktop Security System AreaGuard becomes very powerful tool for data protection, secure authentication of a user into operating systems with mass management and distribution of encryption keys. .

All systems are regularly given to reviewers for professional advice, which is published in professional publication.(news). And the systems and their function are also presented at conferences in the Czech Republic and abroad, where are used by more than 4000 customers.
